Online Hearing Tests-No Studying Required!

I was so thrilled when I realized how clear and crisp everything sounds.

Are you afraid you’re not going to pass a hearing test? Don’t be. A hearing test is just like an eye test or a blood test. You can’t pass or fail.

The test is an assessment your hearing professional makes of your physical condition, nothing more.

Simple 3 Step Process

  • Diagnostic Hearing Evaluations
  • Hearing Test Results
  • Hearing Loss Treatment Solutions

Diagnostic Hearing Evaluations

When you arrive for your hearing exam, you will be greeted by the front office staff and asked to fill out several forms, including those that record your personal information, medical history, and insurance verification.

As your hearing exam begins, your tester may review your personal information with you and will ask you some questions that are designed to discover the specific types of environments in which you may be experiencing hearing loss and hearing problems.

Next, your tester may look into your ears by using an otoscope. This instrument is used to see the ear canal and the eardrum and whether or not there is earwax obstructing the canal.
We do have a video otoscope and will sometimes use this so that you can see inside your ear as well!

Hearing Test Results

The results of your tests will be recorded on a form called an audiogram, which your tester may review with you. The audiogram reflects your hearing loss in frequencies and decibels. You will be shown the type, pattern, and degree of hearing loss, as well as the amount of normal conversational speech that you are still able to hear.
